Today I have been reading back through my journals for 2007 and 2008. I was looking for something specific but instead found an entry that has sort of repumped me. I was already feeling a renewed hope in God today, a renewed faith for following Him. I loved being reminded of my great desire to glorify God with my life, and to do His will.
A lot of you that read this journal go to Southlink, and just like you guys my church is also going through an expansion. We have outgrown our building and property; and Glory to God for such a problem to have. Anyway, just wanted to shout out to them, that I know what they're going through and I hope this song will remind you just how exciting all the work ahead is going to be. This song would be such a cool "theme song" while going through an expansion campaign. (And yes, I remember that the author of this song used to be the worship guy at Southlink.)
But no matter what God has given you to do for Him, I just pray that you can listen to this song and be "pumped for God". I pray that it will encourage you, like it has done for me once again. What is your "something big"? Don't let the word "big" scare you. Whatever you do for the Kingdom is BIG-no matter how small it feels. Just obey!!
